For more than a century, The Previant Law Firm, S.C. has provided quality legal representation to clients across Wisconsin. We have been responsible for landmark changes in labor law and for the successful representation of injured and wronged workers across the state. Our personal injury and wrongful death practice has helped us change numerous lives for the better, while exposing negligence to improve conditions for others.
The Previant Law Firm, S.C. was founded in 1912 by Joseph Padway, a true pioneer in labor law. He acted as general counsel of the American Federation of Labor for a time and played a significant role in the development of many Wisconsin labor laws still on the books today. The breadth of our labor law practice is well known and recognized in the communities we serve. Over the decades, we have participated in federal and state appellate court proceedings, winning nine victories for union members in the United States Supreme Court. Our team of labor lawyers represents many of the largest labor unions in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest.
In fact, four of our attorneys have been named to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list: Matthew Robbins, Marianne Goldstein Robbins, Nathan D. Eisenberg and Steven Kluender. Our firm itself is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, the definitive directory of the legal profession’s top practitioners designated by colleagues as preeminent in their field.
Accolades aside, it is results that count when lives are disrupted and people are suffering after a serious injury. Successful settlements and verdicts are the real proof of our dedication to helping the working people of Wisconsin find justice and financial compensation in court.
