Caterpillar Violates NLRA by Refusing Access to Union

On April 23, 2013, the National Labor Relations Board issued a decision finding that Caterpillar Inc, violated Section 8(a)(1) and (5) of the National Labor Relations Act by denying access to the international union’s health and safety specialist to conduct a health and safety inspection after a fatal accident.
